Football Manager World Record Attempt
We’ve teamed up with the National Football Museum and Guinness World Records to give you the chance to take part in an official world record attempt.
We’re looking for 100 different managers to play a single game of FM over 100 days – talk about the ‘revolving door’ of managers!
Taking the helm at AFC Wimbledon, each manager will have one day to bring in their tactics, sign players and push on as far as they can through the season.
Each of these players will not only be proving their worth as a manager, but will also be part of an official Guinness World Record: ‘Most Contributions To A Save File on a Video Game’.
As well as being part of an official world record attempt, each player will be given their own official cover of Football Manager 2016, with their face on the front. It doesn’t end there! At the end of the 100 days, one manager will be picked at random to appear as a ‘newgen’ in Football Manager 2017.
To book yourself a day in the hot-seat and take part in our world record attempt please visit the booking page. You can a date up to fourteen days in advance, and will need to be able to get to the National Football Museum in Manchester to play for a minimum of 45 minutes. You are of course welcome to stick around for longer than that.
We’ll be kicking things off on Friday 12th February with a very special guest… AFC Wimbledon’s mascot, Haydon the Womble! We don’t want to give anything away but keep an eye out for some more familiar faces over the 100 days...
If you can’t make it to the National Football Museum to take part, you can follow all the action on Twitch and Twitter, using #FM100.
