The FM27 Launch Preview is free to play on PC/Mac until 3 November. Select your platform and start making the calls that will shape your season.
FM27 Mobile returns with a host of exciting new additions, putting the power in your hands to build your legacy and lead your team to glory.
FM27 Mobile delivers upgrades across the board, from a brand-new Match Engine to an enhanced Dynamics Interaction system and plenty more in between. With new ways to shape your squad, influence matches and define your journey, the next great footballing story is yours to write.
Whether you're continuing from your save in FM24 or FM26 Mobile, or starting again from the very beginning, FM27 Mobile is a game for all levels, giving you a more digestible way to play FM while still retaining the depth and detail that allows you to control your managerial destiny.
FM27 Mobile introduces the most advanced 2D Match Engine in the series’ history. It brings across the latest FM Match logic while retaining the familiar 2D presentation. The new engine delivers a smoother, more powerful and authentic match-day experience.
With more visual and statistical information available throughout matches, you’ll have greater insight into how your team is performing, helping you make more informed tactical decisions when it matters most.
One of the key additions is Expected Goals (xG), now a familiar metric in modern football. You’ll be able to track xG during matches, as well as in league tables and post-match reports.
Giving you a clearer picture of performance beyond the scoreline, xG will help you understand whether your team is creating the chances it should be, making it easier to tell if you’ve genuinely been outplayed or if your forwards just had a bad day in front of goal.
Football management is about more than picking a starting eleven. It’s about understanding your players, managing personalities and knowing when to step in. In FM27 Mobile, the in-game Dynamics system has evolved to give you greater influence over your squad, bringing the human side of football management to the forefront.
New inbox items will bring key squad morale events directly to your attention, from dressing-room conflicts to goal droughts. As an example, if a player speaks out against you and your tactics, it may cause a divide in the dressing room between those who back you and those who agree with the player.
You’ll be able to explore these situations in greater depth through Dynamics and Player Profiles, giving you more context on what’s happening within your squad and how you should try and deal with it, with your approach potentially improving relationships and boosting morale.
These interactions are backed by wider improvements that offer greater insight into player personalities, helping you anticipate how individuals are likely to respond to certain situations. You’ll also have two new responses at your disposal, Satisfied and Encourage, joining the existing Praise and Criticise options.
This feature brings the human side of football management into sharper focus by making squad dynamics and player form visible at the right moments. Every player is different, and how you choose to manage those relationships can make all the difference.
In FM27 Mobile, you’ll have more control over how your players develop, with a new functionality that lets you directly train their preferred moves and traits, or to remove them entirely. It’s another way to take an active role in player progression and shape your squad to suit your vision.
Greater clarity around each trait means you’ll have a better understanding of what they do and how they fit into your tactical blueprint. Your coaching structure will also determine which traits you can train, creating a closer link between player development, staff quality and coaching specialisms.
If your squad needs a Model Professional or a Wind-up Artist, new search filters mean you can scout the perfect recruit based on personality type or preferred moves and traits. So, whether you’re looking for the right characteristics for your system or targeting specific traits to develop within your existing squad, you’ll have more tools to help you build a team capable of delivering your vision.
Supporters have the unique power to make your stadium truly feel like a fortress when things are going well, or like an open mutiny when they aren't. Keeping them onside is all part of the challenge of football management.
In FM27 Mobile, you can keep a closer eye on their feelings through a new Supporters Tab within the Board Confidence system. Complete with its own rating, the tab breaks down supporter opinion across four key areas: team performance, transfers, long-term stability and you as a manager.
You’ll feel the pressure of their expectations through new inbox items that bring the highs and lows of supporter sentiment to life. And winning alone won’t always be enough to get them on side. You’ll need to prove you’re the right person to lead their club forward and build a lasting legacy.
With supporter expectations playing a more visible role in your journey, every result, decision and milestone will feel more meaningful, bringing you closer to the passion, pressure and unpredictability of life in the dugout.
Whether you’re weighing up a player’s fitness ahead of a crucial fixture or figuring out the roles that make your tactical system tick, FM27 Mobile’s new advice features give you greater context to make informed decisions when it matters most.
When it comes to injuries, a dedicated Physio Report provides a detailed assessment of injury risk and match readiness, helping you understand the risks before making your next move.
The report breaks everything down into four key sections: condition, assessment, advice, and recommendations. By combining factors such as injury history, fitness, fatigue, and match load, it explains why a player may be at risk and what’s contributing to their current condition.
You’ll also receive actionable recommendations on player selection and training intensity, helping you weigh up the potential short-term gains against the longer-term risks - so you can make the call.
If you’re picking up FM Mobile for the first time, additional guidance is available from the Tactics menu at the start of your career, highlighting the best players around the world for each role to give you a reference point. By providing you with greater context for the specific roles in the game, this in turn will level out the learning curve and have you crafting effective tactical shapes in no time.
With greater insight into the specific roles available in the game, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how your players fit into your system, helping you get to grips with tactics and build effective formations with confidence.
Whether you’re fine-tuning your squad’s fitness or finding your feet tactically, these new tools offer more support without taking away the decisions that make management yours.
FM27 Mobile brings a host of additional upgrades designed to make your managerial experience more immersive, accessible and rewarding.
Haptic feedback brings you closer to the action, with vibrations at key in-game moments adding a more physical dimension to your time in the dugout.
There’s also a range of new accessibility settings, housed in a dedicated menu, making it easier for more players than ever to tailor the experience to their needs.
The news system has received direct enhancements, too, with relevant messages guiding you towards specific areas of the game when you need them most. Struggling for form? You might find yourself being pointed back towards the tactics board to help turn things around.
And finally, Colombia joins the game as a playable, unlicensed league, opening up new career possibilities and giving you another footballing nation to conquer.
From the engine powering match day to more influence over the players you develop, these additions help make FM27 Mobile a more immersive experience, putting you right at the heart of every decision, challenge and triumph.
Your next great footballing story starts in the palm of your hand from November 10.
And with that, we bring our FM27 Feature Blogs to a close...
Whether you'll be playing FM27 Mobile, FM27 Console, or FM27 on PC/Mac, you'll find unparallelled authenticity across the series in your quest to become the next managerial great. Will you be taking a lower league club on a journey through the divisions? Awake a sleeping giant? Or create an era of dominance with a team already near the top?
The next chapter is yours to write. Make the call.
A significant change in FM27 Mobile is the 2D Match Engine, brought over from the PC version of FM27 to deliver the most advanced engine ever for FM Mobile. This creates a more authentic and detailed view of how every match and highlight unfolds.
Between the on-pitch moments, you'll see additional statistics, graphs and more to assess the performance of your team and your opposition, to help with making tactical decisions. This includes the addition of xG (Expected Goals), visible not just during a match, but also across other key game areas and media items.
Dynamics covers a range of in-game events and information points that help you manage player personalities and optimise the mindset within your squad, ultimately leading to better performance during matches.
Look out for new messages that highlight either personal or group events that can affect morale in the camp, such as a goal drought for a striker or conflicts within the team. These events will trigger player or squad reactions that can be tracked in Dynamics or Player Profiles, and you can influence these via interactions directly with players, or in your public discussions with the media.
Alongside the responses of 'Satisfied' or 'Encourage' are now 'Praise' and 'Criticise' to help you elicit the right response from a player – and to help you understand which option is best to take, player information includes greater insight into their personality.
To help focus any player's development in a specific direction, you can now action training around selected moves and traits, or work to remove them from their playing style completely. Those traits now have greater detail, helping you understand if they are worth improving or eradicating. Your club's coaching staff and structure will influence what you can action here, placing greater focus on staff recruitment to cover the specialisms you need.
To help add certain characteristics to your squad, new search filters for the player database include personality types, such as 'Wind Up Artist' or 'Model Professional', as well as searching by playing traits.
Within the Board Confidence area, a 'Supporters' screen now provides greater detail on how the fans are feeling about your management of the team. A specific rating summarises their current thoughts, with breakdowns to cover their opinion on transfer dealings, the club's long-term stability, on-pitch performances, and your personal tactical decisions as a manager. Additional news items will further outline how your decisions and performances are being perceived by the fans, considering more than just results to form their opinion.
Across multiple areas of the game, more advice and guidance is given to help you stay on top of all the key actions to take as a manager. This includes more recommendations and insight around player selection for the upcoming match, alongside suggestions for training and its intensity; both to help you manage your squad over the course of a season.
If a player picks up an injury you'll now receive a more granular assessment of it, including a Physio Report that advises on if that player can be considered for match selection, and information on their fatigue and match load to consider. Once you know who is fit to play, the Tactics menu offers further guidance on which players are the best fit for each position on the pitch, helping you understand what roles and formations are the best fit for your team.
Yes. Haptic feedback is added to help you feel even closer to the action during matches, and away from the games, many news items have been redesigned to provide you with useful buttons to take you to menus where relevant actions can be taken. Additional accessibility options are available in the game options, and the selection playable leagues expands with the addition of Colombia as an unlicensed nation to manage within.
FM27 Mobile launches on iOS and Android from 10 November, available exclusively to Netflix subscribers.
