EFL and Football Manager Extend Winning Partnership
Ahead of Football Manager 26’s release on 4 November, we’re delighted to announce the extension of our longstanding partnership with the English Football League (EFL).
As part of the continuation of the partnership, the EFL’s 72 teams and five competitions will all be fully licensed in FM26.
Football Manager has been an Official Licensee of the League since 2014 and our agreement dates back to 2004.
The 2024/25 season was record-breaking for the EFL with more than 209,000 fans attending the Play-Off Finals at Wembley Stadium. It was also the first season of the League’s groundbreaking broadcast deal with Sky Sports that has seen more games than ever before broadcast live.
The contract extension will see Football Manager and the EFL collaborate on shared content initiatives and collaborations to bring the action fans enjoy in the stadium and on TV even closer to them.
