Football Manager sign Vancouver Whitecaps as Official Club Partner
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC, adding more North American flavour to our squad of partners for Football Manager 26.
As part of the agreement, the studio’s first with an MLS club, the Whitecaps become the latest club to gain access to Sports Interactive's official database platform FMDB Pro, providing data-driven insights to guide their future recruitment strategy.
Football Manager branding will appear at BC Place and the studio receives player and staff access for social and digital content, as well as the internal FootTalks series that influences future game development.
2025 marks Vancouver’s 15th season in MLS, with the club originally founded in 1974 and to this day the longest running professional soccer club in Canada or the United States.
It’s been a fantastic season for the club on and off the pitch. In August, the ‘Caps made international headlines with the addition of German star Thomas Müller. Under the leadership of Danish manager Jesper Sørensen, meanwhile, the club reached the CONCACAF Champions Cup final, won a fourth successive Canadian Championship and achieved an MLS-era points record as they finished second in the Western Conference.
