Miyu Matsunaga, Tokyo Verdy Beleza
Already a first-team quality starter, 19-year-old Miyu Matsunaga has enormous Potential Ability in FM26.
Matsunaga’s best role is as a Winger and while she’s capable of playing on the left or the right, she’ll add most to your team on her natural left foot where she can provide width in the attack.
Matsunaga’s standout Attributes are Agility, Balance, Dribbling and Work Rate but with so much potential to grow, good coaching and regular game time will shape her into one of the world’s best.
Chinari Sasai, Nojima Stella Kanagawa
Chinari Sasai is another exciting right-footed attacker on this list and she’s comfortable playing out wide or up front.
Sasai’s Attribute profile, which includes scores of 15 for Passing and 16 for Balance at FM26’s launch, makes her well-set for a single striker system where she is well regarded for her ability to beat defenders with her dribbling. Although Sasai is already a first-team quality player, she’s got huge room to grow and develop under your management.

Satoko Fujisaki, Urawa Red Diamonds
A similar player to Sasai, Satoko Fujisaki is an exciting and dynamic attacking player who can play on the left, right or up front as a more deep-lying striker.
At 18 when you begin your first FM26 save, Fujisaki will be on the fringes of the starting XI for Urawa Red Diamonds but has several key Attributes to make an impact from the off. These include Dribbling (15), Technique (14), Decisions (14), Determination (14) and Composure (14).
Her attacking qualities and mental strengths will allow you to bring her into the fold early on and help her fulfil her massive potential.
Nina Noda, Tokyo Verdy Beleza
Nina Noda is a teammate of the first player in this article, but she plays in a vastly different position.
The only Goalkeeper in this list, Noda’s initial Attribute profile in FM26 is solid with scores of 10 or more in all the Goalkeeping departments.
Goalkeeper development often is a little slower than outfield players but with regular game time, initially in the cups and then in league action, Noda has the reflexes, aerial ability and potential to become a league-leading talent in net.
Madoka Sakurai, Urawa Red Diamonds
The second Urawa Red Diamonds talent in this list, Sakurai is a right-footed Full-Back or Wing-Back.
She’ll be on the fringes of the first team at the start of an FM26 save but she’s already got some very eye-catching Attributes that will make it easy for you to give her game time.
Scores of 15 for Flair and Technique and 14 for Dribbling mean that Sakurai’s best role is an Advanced Wing-Back, making her set to play more aggressively than a traditional Wing-Back with a greater creative and attacking output.

Hinata Ide, INAC Kobe Leonessa
One of the older players on this list, INAC Kobe Leonessa’s Hinata Ide can play as either a Full-Back or a Central Defender.
That offers great versatility with the introduction of In and Out of Possession formations in FM26 [link], as you could opt to play her as an Inside Wing-Back with the ball but move her back into a more central role when your team loses possession.
Either way, Ide isn’t a first-team starter when you begin an FM26 career but she has huge room to develop with regular minutes, first from the bench and then as an integral part of your starting XI.
Sana Kimura, JEF United Chiba
Sana Kimura is one of the most versatile players in this list, capable of playing anywhere down the left-hand side from Full-Back to Winger.
That gives you more options as manager, as you can opt to use Training and match minutes to shape her in the role that will help your team’s needs most.
Our best advice is to use Kimura as a Winger, as her base Attribute scores of 13 for Dribbling and Decisions mean she’s primed to be a great creative, attacking outlet for your team.

Miku Hayama, Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina
Another left-footer, Miku Hayama is more attacking-minded and is capable at either left midfield or left wing.
Although she’s not the fastest wide player, she’s very technically sound, with Attributes of 13 for Crossing, Corners, Dribbling and Finishing.
Aged 20 at the start of an FM26 career, Hayama is already making her presence felt in the first team and more than ready to push on to great things.
Uno Shiragaki, Cerezo Osaka Yanmar
We finish this list with Cerezo Osaka Yanmar’s excellent defensive prospect Uno Shiragaki.
Although she can play at right-back or right wing-back, Shiragaki leaps off the page as a No-Nonsense Centre-Back at the heart of your defence.
Shiragaki can be a starter from the off in FM26, which will be invaluable in helping her achieve her full Potential Ability.
