The long-awaited journey to Japan is nearing with the landmark arrival of the J.League in Football Manager 2024.

When writing blogs like that one, it’s always difficult to find the right balance between trying to be transparent and being careful not to talk about things too early. As a big fan of certain TV shows that are full of community ‘theory forums’, I’ve always enjoyed speculating with other people’s work, but always find it a bit odd with our own work, despite the fact that players being excited to get their hands on more information is probably the most gratifying thing that can happen for our team! We hope we got the balance right and the feedback we received means further transparency with today's blog and more to come in the future.

In this blog, I’ll be talking about what happens next with the rollout of FM24’s features as well as some new partnerships which will benefit both this year’s release and future titles beyond.

Driven by a constantly evolving quest to deliver complete football authenticity, FM24 is the most complete edition in the series yet, filled with new additions that deepen your immersion and elevate your gameplay experience. 

FM24 Console, FM24 Touch and FM24 Mobile are also warming up for the new campaign, with all three set to launch from November 6th. 

Football Manager 2024 Mobile will launch exclusively for Netflix members from November 6th.

This blog is one that I have been looking forward to writing and we’re delighted to finally be able to update you all on the future direction of Football Manager. Over the last seven months, we’ve all experienced the highs and lows that a Football Manager career can bring. Now, to capture all of that drama, we’re creating our very own FM23 all-star newgen XI, powered by you, our FMFC members. 

That XI won’t be solely selected on pure ability or to accommodate a fixed formation. We know that with standout newgens, it’s the stories associated with them that makes them so special and unique. 

Maybe it’s a tale of someone from one of the world’s smaller nations that helped you with your promotion push up the divisions. What about that Central Defender that was only five-foot-six but had 19 Acceleration? Or the striker you snapped up from non-league that smashed your club’s all-time scoring record by the time they were 24? 

Wherever they played, whoever you managed and whatever it was that made your favourite FM23 newgen special, we want to hear about it. 

The 11 FMFC members that get their players selected in the starting line-up will receive an FMFC 23 home shirt with the newgen’s name and number printed on the back. They’ll also see their superstars spotlighted in a future blog on the FM website and FMFC Hub.

To coincide with our management of Venezia FC over on our TikTok channel, we’re giving FMFC members the chance to win one of their brilliant 2022/23 third shirts.  

The Italian club are internationally recognised for their stylish kits and this season’s gold jersey is another classic.
