Jump into the managerial hotseat this weekend with Football Manager 2023 now available to play for free.

PC and Mac users will be able to try out FM23 on Steam completely free until 6:00pm BST on Monday, June 26th. Xbox Live Gold subscribers can access FM23 Console at no cost before 9:00am BST on June 26th.

Over the last seven months, we’ve all experienced the highs and lows that a Football Manager career can bring. Now, to capture all of that drama, we’re creating our very own FM23 all-star newgen XI, powered by you, our FMFC members. 

That XI won’t be solely selected on pure ability or to accommodate a fixed formation. We know that with standout newgens, it’s the stories associated with them that makes them so special and unique. 

Maybe it’s a tale of someone from one of the world’s smaller nations that helped you with your promotion push up the divisions. What about that Central Defender that was only five-foot-six but had 19 Acceleration? Or the striker you snapped up from non-league that smashed your club’s all-time scoring record by the time they were 24? 

Wherever they played, whoever you managed and whatever it was that made your favourite FM23 newgen special, we want to hear about it. 

The 11 FMFC members that get their players selected in the starting line-up will receive an FMFC 23 home shirt with the newgen’s name and number printed on the back. They’ll also see their superstars spotlighted in a future blog on the FM website and FMFC Hub.

To coincide with our management of Venezia FC over on our TikTok channel, we’re giving FMFC members the chance to win one of their brilliant 2022/23 third shirts.  

The Italian club are internationally recognised for their stylish kits and this season’s gold jersey is another classic.

As Europe’s elite take centre stage in the UEFA Champions League, it’s time for you to compete for the game’s biggest trophies with Football Manager 2023 now 40% off across all platforms.

The China Data Update for Football Manager 2023 is now live across all platforms*.

A standalone release because of the later than usual closing of the Chinese transfer window, this Update features more than 83,000 database changes. 

A new save game will be required to play with these competition and data-specific changes in place. There are a few small general gameplay fixes included in this update and these will take effect in current careers.

FMFC member and Bolton Wanderers fan Ian Fraser got the opportunity of a lifetime to present the Papa Johns Trophy to his beloved team’s captain at Sunday’s Wembley final.  

Ian received that money can’t buy prize as winner of the FM23 Papa Johns Trophy Challenge, a unique collaboration between Football Manager, Papa Johns and the EFL. Running from January to March, the Challenge encouraged FM23 players to win the Papa Johns Trophy in-game and record their success on FMFC.

The Final Data Update for Football Manager 2023 is now available across all platforms*.

Football Manager has debuted on PS5, with FM23 Console now live and available to play on the platform.

Until 15:00 GMT on Thursday, February 14th, FM23 Console will be available with a 20% discount for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. The discount is consistent with the pre-order incentive that ran prior to our announcement that the initial November release was to be delayed.
